I'm sending you a street snap this morning. We usually spend Nori's day off together, but yesterday we did not. Can you see a bit of loneliness in this picture?

Feeling a comfortable autumn breeze even in the daytime, and sometimes a bit chilly in the evening these days. "Shichi-go-san" season is coming soon. "Shichi-go-san" is a traditional event to celebrate children's healthy growth, particularly for five-year-old boys and three/seven-year-old girls. Children dress up in kimono and go to shrine with their family.

This picture is at the photo shooting event we held last November at the Green Park in Wakamatsu. Wearing kimono and putting make-up she shows somewhat a mood of fascinating "woman" already, but her tiny and plump hands are just so cute 
秋の風が心地よく、夕方になるとちょっと寒いくらいになりましたね。七五三のシーズンも近づいてきました。
こちらの写真は、去年11月の撮影会に来てくださったお嬢さん。幼いながらも女の艶が感じられますが、チラと見える手元はまだぷっくりしてて、可愛いですね(*^^*)

今年は気軽に来ていただける撮影会は、実現できそうにないですが、七五三の記念撮影も受付けていますよ。お気軽にメッセージくださいね！

Good evening. Tonight I'm sending you this image shot during our family trip to Hirado, Nagasaki in the end of August.

I am standing on a hill in a gentle breeze. Nori told me to place my hands at the bottom of my 6-month baby bump in order to make you easier to recognize it, but yea...it's not working that much, is it?
Anyway, I love pictures like this where a person is blended into the landscape.

こんばんは。今宵は、少し前のブログ投稿写真より、夏休みの終わりに家族旅行で長崎に行ったときに撮った、こちらの写真をお届けします。

現在、妊娠6ヶ月目の私・知恵が風の吹く丘の上に立っています。「お腹の膨らみが分かるように手を前で組んで」と指示が出て、そのようにしてるのですが、ビミョーですね 笑。でも、こういうランドスケープに溶け込むように人物が存在する写真はとても好きです。

夏らしい夏の日を満喫できないまま、秋になってしまいましたね。９月に入ってすっかり秋の空模様ですが、今日もお天気いまいち、秋空を楽しむことも出来なさそう。そんな今日、夏の終わりのこの写真をお届けします。

Summer had gone by without fully enjoying the shiny summer days. The sky shows autumn colors and expressions already these days in September.

一週間が始まりました。子供の夏休みも残り一週間……我が家もやっと通常サイクルに戻れます。

It's a starting day of the week today. Summer vacation for kids ends in a week...I'm glad that the usual everyday life is coming back.

今日は、先月に引越して参りました新居周辺の風景を、Leicaの繊細な描写でお届けします。これ、プリントしたら油絵のような立体感のある写真になるだろうなぁ…と、昨夜PC画面で見せられたときに思いました。
Today's image is a scene around our new place captured with Leica M8, who's touch is fine and dedicate. When my husband, Nori showed me this pic on a laptop display, I felt it will be just like an oil painting if printed on a paper.

今月はあちこちで写真展が開催されていて、私も息子を連れて出掛けているのですが、やっぱりプリントした写真は発信力、伝える力を持っています。
Many photo exhibitions has been held in this month in/around here in Kitakyushu, and I went to see some of the exhibitions. The biggest impression that I had through these photo exhibitions is:

"A Photograph Printed On A Paper Really SPEAKS"

この写真、早くプリントして見てみたいです。I'd like to see this image printed as soon as possible.

おはようございます！今日は、もうすぐ出産を迎える私の友人・ひーちゃんのマタニティー写真をお届けします。

Good morning! Today's image is a maternity photo of my friend, Hi-chan, who is giving birth to a baby boy soon.

ご自宅に伺っての撮影。柔らかい光が差し込む窓際が即席のスタジオとなりました。最初は写真に入りたがらなかった娘ちゃんも、じわじわとカメラの前に立ちはじめ……何カットか撮っていくうちに、この笑顔！
We brought our studio equipment to her place, and made up a quick photo studio by the window where a soft light coming through in.

色々撮りましたけど、私はこのカットが一番好きです(*^^*)
ひーちゃん、元気な赤ちゃんを産んでね！
I like this picture the best among many cuts in the photo session. Her daughter was very shy at first but gradually got familiar with camera and then... this big smile:)

我が家では一昨日よりインターネットが(仮)開通。(仮)が頭についているのは……光ケーブルの工事が予想以上にややこしく、一先ずレンタルのポケットWi-fiでアクセスしているからです。
